Help for Constituents with Family in Afghanistan

I am receiving a lot of enquiries from constituents who are worried about relatives in Afghanistan.

Please do not come to my office without an appointment – we are very busy and not currently able to deal with people who do not have an appointment.

Only one person from each household should contact us, please.  If several people request help for the same person, it makes it more difficult for us to process the cases.

My staff will log your case and give you a reference number. Please make sure that you use this reference number in all of your future correspondence with them as it will help them to find your case more quickly.

My staff will pass all of your information on to the relevant government team.  However, please be aware that they are inundated with enquiries and so they will not reply immediately.  We will try to keep you informed as best we can, but we would also be grateful if you could keep us informed about your family, particularly if they manage to leave Afghanistan.
