It is completely unacceptable that the Rail Delivery Group, with full support from the Tory Government, is pushing ahead with the closure of ticket offices, including at Farnworth Station in my constituency.
There has been no assessment released on the impact this will have on passengers, particularly the elderly and those with disabilities.
I believe that ticket offices help our railways be more accessible, safe and welcoming.
