Yasmin Qureshi Labour Member of Parliament for Bolton South and Walkden

I was dismayed to learn that Girlguiding UK proposes to close five of its Activity Centres: Blackland Farm, Foxlease, Glenbrook, Ynysgain and the nearest centre to my constituency, Waddow Hall.
The loss of these centres will be a devastating blow to thousands of girls and young women in the Girlguiding movement, as well as the other organisations who use the wonderful facilities at these centres.
I have written to the Chief Executive, the Chief Guide and the Chair of the Board of Trustees to ask them to reconsider their decision, and you can read a copy of my letter below.
If you wish to sign the petition against the closures, you may do so here: https://www.change.org/p/girlguiding-uk-to-review-and-reconsider-the-decision-to-sell-the-five-activity-centres
