I asked the Chief Secretary to the Treasury if he thought that building homes next to our rail lines and stations would help unlock growth, especially here in Bolton South and Walkden. His answer was a resounding yes. The Government was already working alongside Network Rail to unlock land and opportunities to build the 1.5 million homes we need.
